These things looked way ahead of their time. Disappointing amount of wood in the interior though. If only I had $3700, and lived near Victoria.

Victoria is so British. It's the only place I see old Rovers, they come up for sale somewhat often actually

I’ve never really been a fan of the P6.
Give me a P5 Coupe anyday.
It was okay for Her Majesty.

My old man bought one of these while we were in England. Truth be told, I’m pretty sure he was sick of driving the Volaré at the time. But after a couple of months, he drove the P6 less and less. I asked him about it a year or so ago (even though it’d been thirtyish years since then), and he said that the Rover was starting to frighten him. Or at least, the driver he became once he got behind the wheel of the Rover, he realized, was not good when it came to safely transporting a wife and three sons. Dat Buick motor. ^_^

If the Rover is too practical for you, there's always the Triumph Stag as well.

They were almost even more ahead of their time. The funny front suspension was designed to leave space in the engine bay for a gas turbine.

I agree, needs more wood. But it is in Victoria and they have some big trees there...
